Aervue | Help & Support
1. Preparing for Your Aervue Shoot
What you need to do before we arrive:
• Confirm site access, parking and any gate codes.
• Check the weather forecast and have a backup date if conditions are unsafe.
• Clear people, vehicles and loose items from the flight area.
• For indoor FPV, have doors open, lights on and pathways clear.
2. Real Estate Aerial Guide
Make your listing look its best:
• Best time of day is usually early morning or late afternoon for soft, flattering light.
• Tidy and declutter the home inside and out.
• We’ll capture key aerial angles plus smooth FPV fly-throughs where suitable.
• Deliverables can include photos, video and social-ready clips.
3. Construction & Roof Inspection Guide
What you can expect from an inspection:
• High-resolution imagery of roof condition, solar panels and visible structural issues.
• Optional thermal imaging to highlight hotspots, leaks and insulation gaps.
• Clear safety requirements on site (no people under the drone, controlled access).
• Reports and media delivered digitally for easy sharing with your team.
4. Small Business Marketing Guide
Use aerial media to grow your brand:
• Show off your location and scale from above.
• FPV fly-throughs are great for gyms, cafés, showrooms and venues.
• Prepare your space by cleaning, decluttering and planning any talent on camera.
• We supply social-media-ready edits you can post straight away.
5. Thermal Imaging Guide
Understand what thermal can and can’t do:
• Detect hotspots, leaks and insulation issues that aren’t visible to the eye.
• Thermal has limitations in heavy rain, strong sun reflection or high wind.
• Best results come in stable conditions with clear access to the area.
• We also support emergency services with rapid thermal assessments where possible.
6. Flight Safety & CASA Compliance
How we keep every flight safe and legal:
• We follow all CASA regulations for drone operations.
• Every job includes a site assessment, weather and risk check.
• We respect no-fly zones and restricted airspace at all times.
• If conditions aren’t safe, we’ll reschedule rather than take risks.
7. What Happens After the Shoot
What to expect once filming is done:
• We back up and review all footage for quality and safety.
• Standard editing timelines are usually X–Y business days (depending on the project).
• Files are delivered in web-ready formats (and RAW on request).
• You can request revisions within the agreed revision window.
• We archive your footage for a set period so it’s easy to update or re-cut later.
